It’s hard to understand either dance or physics without doing them. Both the arts and sciences are meant to be participatory — people invented these, so people should take an active part in them. We encourage everyone — students, teachers, parents, etc. — to wonder and play with ideas and the world around them. This is what dance and physics are all about.
What we offer here are some ideas. Whether you’ve been to our performance or not, you can take some of these images and snippets to launch into your own investigations, inventions, and wonderings. We have some prompts that we’ve imagined, but we would also welcome your own ideas. At the bottom of each of these “lesson” pages is a comment form, and we’d be delighted if you could contribute your own ideas or questions.
